Day 1 You turn up to your kick-start call with Nicola, a bit nervous, you've never done anything like this before. You finish your call full of enthusiasm to move your practice forward. You realise your frustration about growing your practice, came from uncertainty. You didn’t know what exactly to do and in what order…not to mention how you’d find the time to do it. You have a feeling this could be pretty great.
Day 3 You sign into the resources area to get started. Nicola suggested treatment plan training. Goal? Tackle the poor rebooking problem you've had with your team. You resist the urge to open how to get new patients with Facebook ads in 30 mins. Doing treatment plan training first will amplify the results of all your marketing. You’re relieved to see a done-for-you template so you don’t have to write your own.
Day 7 You head into a training meeting with your team. You're excited not to repeat the same old rebooking conversation you've been having. You explain that the patients don’t care about your clinical treatment plan. Your team are on board with the new treatment plans. They begin using them with new patients.
Day 10 You start your first marketing project - the goal is to double the number of new patients for your team. This is exciting, bold and totally new.
Day 20 You ask a question at a Practice Growth Support call. You’d been to calls before but had just observed at first. Turns out the fellow practitioners are great. A really friendly bunch, determined to move their practices forward. You meet another practitioner who’d struggled to fill her team’s diary. Now she's hiring again as they are so busy. You are feeling so motivated.
Day 33 - You got 28 new patients booked in from your first marketing push!! My associate used to moan she was quiet and book herself out of the diary. Now she's asking if can we put a limit on the number of new consultations in 1 clinic. You wanted to laugh.
Day 40 You signed up for the accountability challenge! It’s all about getting testimonials and reviews. You don’t have any about laser therapy yet. Nothing like a bit of healthy competition.
Day 50 You check your numbers…cause that’s a thing you do now! Turns out your team’s cancellation rate has dropped hugely. Even better their rebooking is almost the same as yours!! This means you need fewer new patients to fill their diary. Horray. Your team member also had 2 word of mouth referrals which never used to happen.
Day 60 You attend a get-it-done call about how to use AI to build an appointment engine. You focus on building a laser therapy for shoulder pain engine as you’ve struggled to get this going in your practice. In 60 mins you have 2 programs created and a price strategy. You've also created a training system for your team, so they can deliver the programs. AND 3 marketing assets to promote the programs! When you get off the call you immediately book your team member on a laser course. You’d put off paying for this before because you worried it wouldn’t be worth it.
Day 90 Since joining Accelerator, you don't anxiously check your bank balance. You know your numbers now and are seeing your income go up steadily. Your new goal is to reduce your hours a bit on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. You'd like to spend it “working on the business time” cause this stuff really works.
